Dr. Sumit Das received his B.S. from the University of Michigan in Biomedical Sciences and continued at Michigan for his degree in medicine. At Michigan, he received various awards including the prestigious Edgar A. Kahn Award in Neurosurgery.
Dr. Das takes great pleasure in the gratification of minimally invasive spinal surgery with the utilization of sophisticated radiographic and microscopic techniques. His clinical interests have expanded to include the new challenges that are emerging in neurosurgery. These procedures include Spinal Fusions, Artificial Disc Surgery, Intracranial Surgery, VP Shunts and Craniotomy.
